APPOINTMENT PROTOCOLS

TO OUR VALUED GUESTS,

Thank you for choosing BangZ Salon & Wellness Spa as your salon of choice in Montclair, NJ.  We look forward to getting to know you as you become a part of our family.  While you may visit our website, and read more “about” us….here are a few more things you should be aware of to make your experience with us that much more enjoyable.

PAYMENT
We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and all major credit cards except American Express.  Apple pay is also accepted.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities cannot be added to a credit or debit card, and/or checks.  For your convenience, we do have an ATM on site and most of our service providers also have Venmo or Zelle for direct tipping.
NOTE:  Gratuities cannot be taken from any remaining balances on a Gift Card. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Your appointment is very important to us.  Time allotted is reserved specifically for you.  We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore we respectfully request at least a 24 hour notice for cancellation to avoid cancellation fees.  All cancellations within 24 hours or failure to show for scheduled appointments will result in a $50 or 100** per service fee. NOTE:  Those with Tuesday appointments can email the salon on Sunday or Monday at bangzinc@aol.com to avoid cancellation fees.
**Fee is dependent on length of time of services scheduled. 

REFUNDS
Each service provider at BangZ strives to have a clear and concise consultation at the beginning of each appointment.  our main goal is that you LOVE the service you have received with us and we are always willing to revisit any concerns.  In the event that you are not 100% happy, we ask that you contact the salon directly within 7 days of your service.  After 7 days, any concerns will not immediately be considered a complimentary adjustment and will be assessed on a case by case basis.  This may result in an additional service and/or product fee.  Because our service providers are willing to revisit your concerns within the 7 day time frame, we do not offer refunds of any kind. 

SPA APPOINTMENTS
Those receiving spa services and/or packages are asked to arrive at least 15minutes prior to the start of their appointment to allow for adequate time to get changed into spa robes and fill out any necessary spa release forms.

HYDRAFACIAL APPOINTMENTS
Anyone who schedules for a HydraFacial please note that it is important that you do not:  use Retinol within 2-3 days, Botox within 7 days, receive fillers within 14 days prior any other skin treatments.

DEVA CURL HAIRCUT APPOINTMENTS
DevaCut is a special dry cutting technique for cutting all natural textures of wavy to extremely curly hair.  It works with the unique curl pattern of each person.  Clients should arrive with their hair freshly washed from the night before, detangled, completely dry, in its natural state, free of any ponytail holders, clips or other hair accessories.  The clients hair is cut dry first, then treated with DEVA specialty products, the DEVA “set” is performed and the client is placed under a hooded dryer.

COLOR, HIGHLIGHTS AND/OR BALAYAGE APPOINTMENTS
Please note that all pricing for color services is a “starting at” price for a basic touch-up.  Any kind of change in color, color balancing, glaze, toner(s), root smudge, shadow root or extra product needed will be an additional charge.  Please consult with your colorist prior to starting for an exact price quote.

UP-DO APPOINTMENTS
All those having up-do services are required to arrive with their hair washed and fully dried, preferably from the day/night before as a shampoo and blowdry are not included.  It is also asked that you have on a button down shirt and any inspiration pictures for reference.

PARKING
The closest parking decks to BangZ is the Crescent Lot with access off of South Fullerton Ave, directly across the street from the salon.  There is also the new South Willow Garage with access off of South Fullerton Ave to the right when facing the salon.  BangZ also has a lot with minimal parking  that includes 1 handicapped spot available to the left side of our building only.  We kindly ask that you do not park in the spots in the back of the building along the black fence as these are reserved for our owners and managers.  We also request that you do not park in front of our dumpsters, along our stairs or blocking our elevator.  This is a fire hazard as well as it impedes on the flow of traffic in our lot.

ONLINE BOOKING
BangZ offers online booking with select services in the salon and spa.  The online booking is accessible via our website by clicking on the BOOK AN APPOINTMENT tab on our homepage.
