Originally erected in 1889 by Joseph Ireland, the 23 South Fullerton Avenue building has been renovated as a historic re-use project. Since 2006, Bangz has meticulously designed the ultimate salon and spa with features that are sure to please all the senses.

  • An air exchange system that replaces inside air with fresh air 15x’s per hour
  • Floating bamboo floors with 1″ of 100% recycled rubber for back support
  • Radiant heat in the spa keeps the tile floors warm and reduces energy footprint

Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa considers children to be of or under the age of 9. We have taken extra steps to ensure the safety and comfort of your little ones in the hair salon.

To guarantee the tranquility of our Spa clients, children must remain supervised at all times and are not allowed into the Spa treatment areas. For more information regarding children’s services, please visit our Hair Services page.

What age is considered a child at Bangz?
Bangz considers a child to be 9 years old and under.

Which stylists can I book my child with?
You can book your appointment with any of our Academy Stylists and Level 1 Stylists for a price of a child’s haircut. All other stylists levels charge full adult prices for all clients.

What is the charge for a children’s haircut?
A Children’s cut can be from $32-$39. This charge may be more if extra time is needed, your child has very long/curly hair or curling/flat iron has to be used.

Can I bring my child to the salon when I get a haircut?
Yes. Your child may wait for you in the waiting area. If your child can not be left alone in the waiting area, we suggest a care taker to accompany them. Please take complete responsibility for your child while at the salon as a courtesy to the other parents trying to relax and enjoy services. No running, playing, yelling, or rough housing will be allowed in the salon at any time. NOTE:  Due to covid mandates only those receiving services are allowed in the salon. 

Please remember to always accompany your child.


All salon and spa appointments can be scheduled by phone or in person at the front desk. Your appointment time is determined strictly according to the services requested. Be assured that this includes an adequate amount of time for a personalized consultation with your stylist. Please help us to provide our clients with a no-wait experience by being on time to your appointment. We suggest that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation and Confirmation Policies

Your appointments are very important to all our team members at Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa. Time allotted for an appointment is reserved specifically for you. There are no double bookings. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 – hour notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests.

When you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, your service provider misses the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need. We ask that all current and new guests supply a credit card number that we store in our secured encrypted files. All NEW color clients, NEW spa clients, and parties of 2 or more in our spa are required to leave a 50% deposit of your approximate service(s). We do require 24 hour notice of cancellation in the event we do not receive the required 24 hour notice for adjustments and cancellations your 50% deposit fee will be NON-REFUNDABLE. If you do not show for the appointment the remaining 50% of approximate services will be billed out to you.  NOTE:  Those will a Tuesday appointment may email us at bangzinc@aol.com Sunday evening or Monday, 24 hours prior to your appointment, to cancel in order to avoid any fees.

As a courtesy, all reservations made more than 48 hours before the appointment will be confirmed via e-mail, text, or phone call.

European Level System

To reward our stylists for improving their skills, Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa employs the European Level System of pricing for hair services. In this system, as stylists improve their skills through continuing education, we reward them by allowing them to charge higher prices. It is a great way to control both the level of experience you require and the amount you desire to spend!


Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa accepts cash, personal checks, traveler’s checks, debit cards and all major credit cards, except American Express.


Gratuities cannot be added to a credit card bill, debit card bill, and/or checks. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for gratuitous purposes unless noted on gift card. Cash gratuity accepted only. An ATM is available for your convenience near the front desk.

Personal Belongings Policy

We are not responsible for any damage to personal belongings. ( handbags, clothing  etc. ) ALL clients are provided with a complimentary robe with every visit. We strongly suggest you take advantage of this service. Thank you for your cooperation.
