Originally erected in 1889 by Joseph Ireland, the 23 South Fullerton Avenue building has been renovated as a historic re-use project. Since 2006, BangZ has meticulously designed the ultimate salon and spa with features that are sure to please all the senses.

BangZ Salon & Wellness Spa considers children to be of or under the age of 9. We have taken extra steps to ensure the safety and comfort of your little ones in the hair salon.

What age is considered a child at BangZ?
BangZ considers a child to be 9 years old and under.

Which stylists can I book my child with?
You can book your appointment with any of our Academy Stylists or Level 1 Stylists for the price of a child’s haircut. All other stylists levels charge full adult prices for all clients.

What is the charge for a children’s haircut?
A Children’s cut can be from $35-$40. This charge may be more if extra time is needed, your child has very long/curly hair or curling/flat iron has to be used.

Can I bring my child to the salon when I get a haircut?
Yes. Your child may wait for you in the waiting area. If your child can not be left alone in the waiting area, we suggest a care taker to accompany them. Please take complete responsibility for your child while at the salon as a courtesy to the other parents trying to relax and enjoy services. No running, playing, yelling, or rough housing will be allowed in the salon at any time.

Please remember to always accompany your child.


All salon and spa appointments can be scheduled by phone or in person at the front desk. All non-color services can be booked online via our online booking portal. Your appointment time is determined strictly according to the services requested. Be assured that this includes an adequate amount of time for a personalized consultation with your stylist. Please help us to provide our clients with a no-wait experience by being on time to your appointment. We suggest that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Your appointments are very important to all our team members at BangZ Salon and Wellness Spa. Time allotted for an appointment is reserved specifically for you. There are no double bookings. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary and that sometimes keeping them is not possible.

As a courtesy to our service providers, our policy for canceling any appointment will continue to be permissible as long as we are given 24-hours notice.  Without this timely notification, our service providers are often unable to fill that appointment at the last moment, resulting in lost income.

In order to protect our staff’s earnings, we will be strictly enforcing our cancellation policy as follows:
~24-hours notice, prior to your scheduled appointment time, is permissible
~Cancellation within the 24-hour period or failure to show up:
1-a $50 fee per service scheduled will be charged
2-those with a 2+ hour appointment scheduled will be charged a $100 service fee
~Should you opt to reschedule an existing appointment that is scheduled within the 24-hour grace period, the cancellation fee(s) will still be enforced.

NOTE:  Those will a Tuesday appointment may email us at bangzinc@aol.com Sunday evening or Monday, 24 hours prior to your appointment, to cancel in order to avoid any fees.

In order to schedule any services, all guests will kindly be asked to provide us with a valid credit card number (VISA, Mastercard, Discover) if there is not an active or valid one on file for you.

We respect you as a valued guest and we hope to continually be of service to you.

Each service provider at BangZ Salon & Wellness Spa strives to have a clear and concise consultation at the beginning of each appointment.  Our main goal is that you LOVE your hair and we are always willing to revisit any concerns.  In the event that you are not 100% happy with your service, we ask that you contact the salon directly within 7 days of your service.  After 7 days, any concerns will not immediately be considered a complimentary adjustment and will be assessed on a case by case basis.  This may result in additional service/product fee.  Because our service providers are willing to revisit any concerns within the 7 day time frame, we do not offer refunds of any kind.


BangZ Salon & Wellness Spa accepts cash, personal checks, traveler’s checks, debit cards and all major credit cards, except American Express.


Gratuities cannot be added to a credit card bill, debit card bill, and/or checks. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for gratuitous purposes unless noted on gift card. Cash or Venmo gratuity accepted. An ATM is available for your convenience near the front desk as well as a Venmo QR code book for easing scanning.


We are not responsible for any damage to personal belongings. ( handbags, clothing  etc. ) ALL clients are provided with a complimentary robe with every visit. We strongly suggest you take advantage of this service. Thank you for your cooperation.
